Leadership and Management Apprenticeships

Apprenticeship Overview

In the UK, we’re renowned for poorly training our future managers; we then fail to understand why we are not producing excellent outcomes in business. A Leadership and Management Apprentice can be just what you need in your company to improve staff retention, increase productivity and drive your business into the future.

We offer Intermediate (Level 2) and Advanced (Level 3), Higher (Level 5) Leadership and Management Apprenticeships. The level the Apprentices embarks is usually dependent on their qualifications, whether we feel they can achieve the qualification, their experience and job role.

Your Apprentice will gain nationally recognised qualifications:

  • Diploma in Team Leading (Level 2) or
  • Diploma in Management (Level 3) or;
  • Diploma in Leadership and Management (Level 5)
  • English (Level 1 or 2)
  • Maths (Level 1 or 2)
  • ICT (Level 1 or 2)

Unlike Colleges, your Apprentice doesn’t need a day release to see the Assessor; we visit you and your Apprentice approximately once a month for 2-hours; saving you time and the additional expense of travel.

The Level 2 Diploma in Team Leading allows the Apprentice to develop knowledge and become competent with the core team leading practices.

This qualification is equivalent to 5 GCSEs and ideal for an employee or newly appointed Apprentice with limited or no GCSEs.

The Intermediate Apprenticeship provides a foundation for future progression to an Advanced Apprenticeship. The Leadership and Management Apprenticeships enable newly appointed managers to develop crucial skills.

The Level 3 Diploma Management allows the Apprentice to develop greater knowledge and become highly competent in management. Some of the units the Apprentice could study include:

Manage personal and professional development

This qualification is equivalent to 2 A-Levels and is ideal for an employee or newly appointed Apprentice with at least 5 GCSEs or a Diploma in Team Leading. Apprentices’ must be in a role whereby they can develop their management competencies.

The Advanced Apprenticeship provides a springboard for future progression to an Apprenticeship in Leadership and Management.

The Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management equips the newly appointed manager. This management qualification ensures the Apprentice understands their responsibilities and introduces sound practices to manage their staff.

This qualification is equivalent to a Foundation Degree or Higher National Diploma and is ideal for an employee or newly appointed Apprentice with at least 2 A-Levels or equivalent in Team Leading or Management. The duration of this apprenticeship is approximately 18 to 24-months.
