This knowledge-based qualification gives an introduction to working in the adult social care industry or with children and young people.
Training takes place in a classroom environment only, and you don’t need a placement. The qualifications cover a variety of areas, including equality, diversity and inclusion; introduction to the role of a social care worker; health and safety; and awareness of safeguarding and duty of care.
Introduction to Health, Social Care and Children’s and Young People’s Settings is accredited and awarded by City and Guilds. Upon completion, you will receive a Level 1 Certificate.
