Have you been affected by Cancer? Do you want to take part in our 'Year of Listening' campaign?
Your experience, whether it is your own personal journey or that of a loved one, can be immensely beneficial in helping us strive for better cancer services in Kent. Through your voice, we can shape the future of cancer services in the area.
We would be grateful if you could take the time to share your story with us, online, over the phone or in person at one of our events (see below) as it is only through listening to those who have been affected by cancer that we can strive to provide the best services possible.
Our aim is to improve lives and support all communities through a diverse approach to engagement, based on everyone’s community.

The communities we will focus on are:
-
Coastal Communities
-
People from ethnic minority backgrounds
-
LGBTQIA+ community
-
People living with learning disabilities
-
A range of religious communities
Our aim is based around improving health inequalities, identifying improvement for pathways to cancer treatments in seldom heard and deprived communities and advocates for early cancer diagnosis, awareness, and prevention methods for all.
We are very excited to work with Macmillan and Medway Voluntary Action to co-produce solutions to barriers we identify and give these seldom-heard communities a chance to tell their stories.
