Project Overview

Social Enterprise Kent CIC are proud to be working in partnership with The Folkestone Community Work Programme, managed by Folkestone & Hythe District Council, to deliver and part fund the Enterprising Opportunities Project within the Folkestone Community Led Local Development area (CLLD). The Enterprising Opportunities project is also part funded by the European Structural and Investment Fund 2014-20 and aims to guide residents within the Folkestone CLLD area to support in the setting up of a social enterprise or a small to medium size business (SME), or aspects of set up such as working out how to measure social impact, manage governance, apply for funding, access crowdfunding, marketing, business planning or a wide range of other functions in order to become more confident moving forward to achieve their self-employment goals, we also offer a huge range of workshops.
