Wellbeing Fund

The Wellbeing Community Fund is your chance to make a positive impact on the South Kent Coast! With grants of up to £5,000 available, we're inviting organisations, groups, and individuals to bring fresh, engaging activities to life that will brighten the days of older folks, reducing isolation and loneliness.

Cost of living

Healthy Eating - open to community groups to apply for up to £5000 to support healthy eating initiatives in their communities. It could be food education, cookery classes or a mixture of both. Contact Jess for detials.

Appliance Grants - For individuals/families in east Kent who haven't got key household appliances eg fridge, cooker, microwave, washing machine etc. Referrals need to be made through existing organisations/professionals' contact costofliving@sekgroup.org.uk

Thanet Social Enterprise Boost Fund

Participants of the Thanet Social Enterprise Boost programme can apply for grants of up to £10,000. 

Who can apply? A Boost participant who is an entrepreneur or unregistered organisation who is driven by a social or environmental purpose and can demonstrate a plan to work towards registration within the government definition below or;

a registered social enterprise organisation within the government definition below;

“a social enterprise is a business with primarily social objectives whose surpluses are principally reinvested for that purpose in the business or in the community, rather than being driven by the need to maximise profit for shareholders and owners".

A start-up is considered to be an organisation:

Less than 5 years old and;

Turnover of less than £250,000 in their last financial year.

Grant funding for positive change in East Kent. Our grants ranging from £2,000 to £10,000 to help you to make a difference through activities like creating peer support groups and innovative projects that break down barriers to healthcare access for marginalised communities.

Cancer Projects Funds

Do you have a community space or a community group in Dartford,  Maidstone, Medway, Ashford, Canterbury or Folkestone? we are on the lookout for community groups and venues that are passionate about spreading the message of early cancer detection and screening.

As a thank you to your group or organisation, we are pleased to be able to offer small pots of micro-funding, that can be used by your organisation for anything you may need, from core costs to equipment and everything in between!
