Core 20 Plus 5 Cancer Project – Community Connector Opportunities!

Be our eyes and ears in your local community by becoming a Community Connector. You will promote and improve the wellbeing of adults aged 60-75 and increase knowledge of FIT testing and recognising early signs and symptoms of bowel cancer within your community.

Social Enterprise Kent and Kent and Medway Cancer Alliance are working together to reduce Health Inequalities across Thanet and the South Kent Coast in this exciting 12 month project.

This project is based around early cancer diagnosis, specifically focused on bowel cancer. We will be working with community connectors to gather valuable knowledge on bowel cancer awareness, FIT testing and identifying barriers to cancer screening. Our community connectors will be offered full support, training, and opportunities to improve their communities.
