Promoting Cancer Awareness & NHS Screening for Early Diagnosis & Prevention

Event Overview:

Are you dedicated to promoting community health, and/or addressing health inequalities in Kent?

In partnership with Kent and Medway Cancer Alliance, SEK empowers communities with crucial knowledge about the most common cancers and NHS bowel, breast, and cervical screening programmes. Become a Cancer Smart Community Connector, and gain valuable skills to make a positive impact on your community’s health.  By taking part, you’ll help enhance awareness and access to cancer screenings for earlier diagnosis and prevention.

This event, held in Canterbury City Centre, will equip you with the tools to raise awareness about life-saving cancer screening programmes and reduce health disparities. If you cannot attend, please reach out to arrange an alternative session.

Who should attend?
This event is open to anyone interested in learning more about cancer and screening in Kent, particularly those representing or supporting community members facing health inequalities. Whether you wish to volunteer with us, or champion health in your own community or organisation, be part of our Cancer Smart Community Network.
