Accredited Paediatric First Aid Training

Course Overview

Did you know since September 2016, it is compulsory for all early year’s staff to hold a valid Accredited Paediatric First Aid certificate? The good news is, we are an Approved Paediatric Training Provider with Kent County Council and Medway Council.

Qualsafe Awards approve this Level 3 Accredited Paediatric First Aid training course. The qualification is recognised by Ofsted and includes all the requirements of the appointed person in the workplace. In-line with the statutory framework for Early Years Foundation Stage, this qualification can be used as evidence for an NVQ in Childcare and Education.

The training is designed for people caring for children in any setting. This includes schools and teachers, au pairs, nannies, care staff, childminders, nursery and pre-school workers, sports and leisure staff, creche leaders, parents and anyone responsible for the welfare of children. The course focuses on the knowledge and skills required to care for babies and children.

“Excellent Accredited Paediatric First Aid course. I thought Angie our course leader was excellent. She delivered the course at a pace that we were all happy with and her knowledge of the subject was sound. She put us all at ease and made us feel confident in our own abilities. We learned a lot over the two days.”
