Community Partnership Officer – Regional Hub Lead

About the role
We are looking for a proactive, relationship-focused individual to join us as a Community Partnership Lead, supporting the delivery of the Kent Gambling Harms Prevention programme in East Kent, working in partnership with MVA and Involve.
This is a dynamic, outward-facing role. You will lead community engagement and partnership development, recruit and support local champions, and work with organisations and services to strengthen awareness and understanding of gambling-related harms.
You will play a key role in mapping and improving pathways to support, building strong relationships across communities and services, and coordinating activity with partners to ensure people affected by gambling-related harms can access appropriate support.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident building partnerships, engaging communities and bringing people together, and who is motivated by improving awareness, strengthening local support and helping to reduce gambling-related harms across Kent.

About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable, friendly and community-minded Delivery Driver to join our Community Food Shop team. This role is about much more than driving. You’ll help ensure affordable food reaches our Community Food Shops by collecting food orders and donations from suppliers across Kent and, occasionally, the wider South East. Every delivery you make helps support local people and reduces food waste.
You’ll be the face of Social Enterprise Kent when visiting suppliers and working alongside our staff and volunteers, building positive relationships wherever you go. When you’re not out on the road, you’ll lend a hand in our Community Food Shops, helping with deliveries, stock, and creating a welcoming environment for customers.
This is an active, hands-on role that’s ideal for someone who enjoys being out and about, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and wants to be part of a team making a real difference in local communities.

Our Community Food Shops provide people with access to affordable, good-quality food in a welcoming and supportive environment. They’re about more than food, they’re places where communities come together, where people are treated with dignity and respect, and where individuals can be signposted to wider support when they need it.

Do you love connecting people with the right support and making things happen in your local community?
We’re looking for a warm, proactive and resourceful Community Coordinator to help make our Chatham Community Food Shop about much more than affordable food.
You’ll work directly with local people, offering practical, one-to-one support with everything from employment and digital skills to finances, wellbeing and accessing local services. You won’t be expected to have all the answers – a big part of the role is knowing how to connect people with the organisations that can help.
You’ll also bring organisations and services into the shop, coordinating pop-ups, workshops and activities that respond to what local people actually need. You’ll build relationships across Medway and help create strong referral pathways so people receive joined-up support rather than being passed from service to service.
This is a new role, so there’s real scope to make it your own – building partnerships, developing activities and helping shape how our wrap-around community support grows.
