Course Content
Our friendly, qualified trainers will work with you to understand your care plan and create a tailored training session that reflects your goals, preferences, and practical support needs. We can cover anything from safe hoist use and administering medication to managing anxiety, safeguarding responsibilities, or support with personal care routines.
Training is delivered face-to-face, often in your own home, and designed to put your PAs at ease while building skills and confidence. Whether you’re training a new PA, offering a refresher, or expanding their skill set as your needs change — we’re here to help.
We’ll support you in understanding how to fund your training through your Personal Health Budget or through the Skills for Care Individual Employer Fund, where available.
What is a Personal Health Budget (PHB)?
A Personal Health Budget is funding allocated by your local NHS team to help you meet your health and wellbeing needs. It is based on your care plan and gives you more choice and control over how support is delivered. You can use your PHB to employ personal assistants, purchase services, or fund training for your care team.
