Course Content
This full-day course offers a supportive, reflective space to explore stress, what causes it, how it shows up, and what you can do to manage it. You’ll begin by exploring how stress affects your body, thinking patterns, and emotional state. We’ll discuss early warning signs that often go unnoticed and the consequences of ignoring persistent stress over time.
The course will guide you through practical strategies to reduce stress and improve emotional resilience. These include simple mindfulness techniques, grounding exercises, reframing tools, and healthy boundary-setting. You’ll also explore your own habits and reflect on the external and internal pressures that may be affecting you.
Throughout the day, we’ll look at stress in both personal and workplace contexts, making the course relevant and accessible no matter your role or sector. There will be time for group discussion, individual reflection, and real-life scenario work to help you apply the tools confidently.
By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a personalised set of strategies and a stronger understanding of what you need to stay calm, grounded, and in control, even when life gets challenging.
At Social Enterprise Kent CIC, we believe supporting mental wellbeing is fundamental to personal and professional success. This course helps you take the first step towards a more balanced, resilient life.
