Course Content
The session includes current online trends, safety challenges, and common ways children may bypass controls or access inappropriate content. It also explores social media risks, online gaming, acronyms and coded language, and the impact of cyber bullying on mental health and behaviour.
Delivered online, this course is suitable for classroom teachers, DSLs, home schoolers, pastoral staff, youth workers, and carers. It aligns with statutory guidance from Keeping Children Safe in Education, Working Together to Safeguard Children, and the UKCIS Online Safety Framework.
Separate versions are offered for primary and secondary audiences, each with examples and content tailored to the relevant age group.
