Artificial intelligence (AI) is already shaping how work gets done, from drafting content and analysing data to streamlining everyday tasks. If you’re unsure what AI really is, how it works, or whether it’s relevant to you, this practical session gives you a clear and confident starting point.

This three-hour, live online course is designed to help you understand AI in a way that feels accessible and useful. It focuses on real-world examples rather than technical theory, giving you a clear picture of how AI tools are already being used and where they could support your organisation. You don’t need any prior knowledge, just curiosity and a willingness to explore how small changes could make your work easier.

The course is open to individuals working within small and micro-businesses, VCSE organisations, sole traders and diverse-owned organisations. Eligibility criteria apply, with priority given to organisations supporting or operating within Kent (including Medway) and North Wales.

Everything is explained in plain English, with practical examples you can relate to your own role. Rather than focusing on future hype, the course helps you understand what AI can realistically do now, and what’s best left for later.
