Overview

Neurodiversity is a natural part of human difference, yet many workplaces are unsure how to create environments where everyone can work comfortably and confidently. This Inclusive Teams, Understanding & Supporting Neurodiversity in the Workplace course offers a practical introduction to neurodiversity, helping you build understanding and take simple, meaningful steps towards more inclusive teams.

Delivered as a live online session, the course explores how different ways of thinking, processing information and communicating can bring real strengths to the workplace. It also looks at the barriers that neurodivergent people may experience and how these can be reduced through thoughtful, inclusive practice. No prior knowledge is needed, the session is designed to be accessible, supportive and relevant to everyday working life.

Course Content

This session is designed for people who want to build more inclusive teams but may feel unsure where to start. Everything is explained in plain language, with a focus on awareness, empathy and practical action rather than labels or assumptions.

You’ll explore how small changes, such as adapting communication styles, offering flexibility, or reviewing workplace expectations, can make a significant difference. The course encourages reflection on how inclusion benefits not only individuals, but also team wellbeing, collaboration and performance.

Previous learners have shared that sessions like this helped them feel more confident supporting colleagues, more aware of unintentional barriers, and better equipped to create environments where different working styles are respected. For many, the biggest value came from understanding that inclusion doesn’t require complex solutions, just informed, thoughtful approaches.
