Meaningful community engagement starts with listening, understanding local needs and building relationships based on trust. For smaller organisations, charities and social enterprises, these connections are essential to delivering services and activities that make a real difference.
This practical three-hour session explores how to connect with communities, encourage participation and involve people in decisions that affect them. You’ll discover straightforward approaches to identifying local needs, overcoming barriers to engagement and gathering feedback that can help shape your organisation’s activities and services.
The course is open to individuals working within small and micro-businesses, VCSE organisations, sole traders and diverse-owned organisations. Eligibility criteria apply, with priority given to organisations supporting or operating within Kent (including Medway) and North Wales.
