Our Health and Social Care Skills Bootcamp is an 8-week development programme designed to help existing care staff build confidence, strengthen core leadership skills, and prepare for greater responsibility within care teams. Created with direct input from the care sector and shaped by feedback from previous cohorts, the programme focuses on the practical skills staff need to grow, perform well, and support others effectively in real care settings.
The Benefits
Build confidence in your team: Support staff to develop the practical leadership, communication, and decision-making skills needed to take on greater responsibility in care settings.
Strengthen your future workforce: Develop capable, confident staff who are better prepared to step into senior support, team leader, or supervisory responsibilities.
Improve day-to-day performance: Better communication, stronger prioritisation, and more confident decision making help teams work more effectively and consistently under pressure.
Address skills gaps in practice: Strengthen the core skills often needed in care teams, including supervision, workload management, communication, wellbeing, and staff development.
Support retention and progression: Investing in staff development helps improve confidence, increase engagement, and support longer-term progression within your service.
Gain recognised qualifications: Learners complete accredited Level 3 qualifications in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health and Safeguarding and Protection in Health and Social Care as part of the programme.

The Cost:
Skills Bootcamps are government funded to make workforce development more accessible for employers.
Typical employer contribution is around £248 per learner, against a full programme value of approximately £2,500 per learner.
This makes the programme a cost-effective way to strengthen leadership capacity, support staff development, and build confidence across your care team.
