Kent AI Skills Accelerator – Before You Apply

A quick check to make sure this course is right for you

Before applying, please take a few minutes to review the key expectations for this funded programme. This helps make sure the course is the right fit and that you are able to fully benefit from the opportunity.

Time commitment

This is a flexible online programme, but you will need to set aside regular time for learning. Participants should be able to commit to approximately 15 hours of learning over 8 weeks from the course start date.

This may include completing online modules, attending support sessions where available, reviewing resources and applying your learning in practice.

Support from your organisation

You will need approval from your line manager, employer or business owner to take part in the course. If you are self-employed or the business owner, you can provide this approval yourself.   As part of the funded programme, your manager, employer or business representative may also need to review and sign required documentation and complete pre- and post-course evaluation forms.

Feedback and follow-up

Because this is a funded opportunity, participants are expected to support evaluation and impact reporting. This helps demonstrate the value of the programme and how the learning is being used in practice.   You may be asked to complete feedback forms, provide follow-up information after the course, take part in a case study, or share how the training has supported changes in your role, organisation or working practices.

Practical requirements

To take part, you will need reliable internet access and suitable equipment for online learning.   Applicants must be working within a Kent-based SME, business or organisation and may need to provide evidence of trading income where applicable.
