If you receive a Personal Health Budget (PHB), part of that funding may be used to support training for the people involved in your care. This can include personal assistants, family carers, or small care teams who need practical, relevant training to provide safe, confident support.

Our Personal Health Budget Training Support is designed around the individual. Rather than a standard course, training is tailored to the person being supported, their routines, their environment, and the specific skills their carers need to work safely and confidently.

Sessions can be delivered in the home or another suitable setting and are built around real-life needs. This may include moving and assisting, medication, communication, behaviour support, safer care techniques, or other practical areas identified by the person, family, or care team.

Training is flexible, supportive, and shaped around what will be most useful day to day. We work with you to understand what support is needed, then build a session that is practical, relevant, and right for the people involved.

Training may be funded through a Personal Health Budget where appropriate, or arranged privately for individuals, families, or support teams who would benefit from tailored training. Complete the enquiry form to tell us more about your situation and training needs, and a member of our team will be in touch to discuss the options available.
