You’ll find a wide range of products, including: Fresh fruit and vegetables, Store cupboard essentials, Chilled and frozen foods, Household items, Seasonal products and special offers. Every purchase helps support a stronger, more sustainable local community.

The SEK Community Food Shop is much more than a place to buy affordable food. The shop is designed as a trusted community hub where people can access practical support alongside their weekly shopping.

Support Available Through the Shop

Alongside affordable food and everyday essentials, we’ll be working with local organisations to bring helpful advice, information and support directly into the shop.

Whether you’re looking for tips on managing household bills, finding work, improving your wellbeing, or simply connecting with local services, we’ll help you find the right support in a friendly and welcoming environment.

Practical Help, All Under One Roof

We’ll regularly welcome local organisations into the shop to offer advice and support, as well as having a community coordinator in the shop offering practical support, including:

  • Money, budgeting and household bills
  • Benefits and financial well-being
  • Employment support
  • Volunteering opportunities
