SEK is proud to deliver the Community Champions Programme in Thanet, designed to strengthen and support local charities and social enterprises.

This initiative offers comprehensive training and development opportunities to enhance the capacity and impact of voluntary sector organisations. Join us in building a more robust and resilient community through tailored training courses and inclusive events. Running from September 2024 to March 2025, this programme provides:

15 Specialised Training Courses: Covering essential topics such as

  • Strategy Development,
  • Finance,
  • Good Governance,
  • Mental Health Awareness, and more.

Events and Networking : Join our events to connect with other local organisations, share experiences, and build a supportive community.

Eligibility Criteria

The Community Champions Programme is open to:

Voluntary Sector Organisations: Charities, social enterprises, and community groups based in Thanet.

Senior Managers, CEOs, and Trustees: Individuals in leadership roles within their organisations who are committed to professional development and organisational growth.

Emerging and Established Entities: Whether you are a new organisation looking to establish yourself or an established entity aiming to enhance your capabilities, this programme is for you.

 

This FREE programme is designed to support Thanet’s voluntary sector to strengthen and build capacity!

Our training courses are designed to address the specific needs of the voluntary sector, offering practical knowledge and skills to enhance organisational effectiveness. Each course is a half-day session, making it accessible for busy leaders and staff.
