Breast Cancer & Screening Awareness Video
Watch this video to hear powerful stories from women sharing their personal experiences with breast cancer, screening and self-checking. We collaborated with women from minority ethnic backgrounds, who are often diagnosed at later stages when fewer treatment options are available.

We were on a mission to make breast health the talk of the town, and we invited the community to come on board. We enabled light-hearted, friendly chats about why prioritising breast health mattered, what to look out for, and how to overcome any obstacles that might have stood in the way of seeking the right care.
Breast cancer was recognised as a widespread and potentially life-threatening disease that affected millions of women worldwide. Early detection through regular self-examinations significantly improved the chances of successful treatment and survival. This project aimed to engage and educate women about the early signs of breast cancer, equipping them with the knowledge necessary for effective early detection efforts.
The project was funded by the Kent & Medway Cancer Alliance and was therefore free to access.
Studies showed that women from ethnic minority backgrounds were more likely to be diagnosed with more advanced breast cancers, which had fewer treatment options.
We aimed to change that by spreading awareness of how to spot the early signs and helping people understand what to do next.
