We partner with Kent and Medway Cancer Alliance to raise awareness of cancers and screenings, for earlier diagnosis and prevention in our communities.
Our friendly team visit schools, colleges and universities for free pop-up stands or workshops with students aged 14+.
We use engaging conversation, interactive materials, and inclusive signposting materials to talk about:

Signs and symptoms of most common cancers

What we can do to reduce our risk

Self-checking and knowing our norms

National cancer screenings, when we will be invited to take part and what to expect

Get involved
We also train and support young people (16+) to become Cancer Smart Community Connectors, who are ambassadors for cancer and screening awareness amongst their peers.
