To enter all we need to know is
• What you have researched / investigated / experimented
• How you carried out the project
• What you learned. You can include pictures or a short video if you wish
Whether you’ve built a robot, designed an app, conducted experiments or created something entirely unique, we want to hear about it!

Primary
All finalists will be invited to a science fair event at the amazing Discovery Park where they will have a stand to show their great work and the chance to win Primary Big STEM Champion 2026! Prizes include a cash lump sum!
Secondary and 16+
Finalists are invited to Discovery Park to take part in the science fair and then present their projects to a “Dragon’s Den” panel of experts for the chance to be named Secondary and 16+ Big STEM Challenge Champions 2026. Prizes include a cash lump sum!

We’re inviting schools, teachers, support staff, and families to an inspiring morning of innovation at the Big STEM Showcase 2026, a free, hands-on STEM Fair hosted at the incredible Discovery Park.
Explore the brilliant work of our Big STEM Challenge finalists and enjoy interactive displays and activities from some of Kent’s leading science, technology, engineering, and maths businesses. Whether you’re a teacher looking to inspire your students or a parent keen to spark curiosity in your child, this event is not to be missed!
