The Big Writing Challenge

• Write or record a piece of creative writing in 500 words or less – based on the subject “Curios Creatures”
• Your creative piece can explore real animals, mythical beasts, alien life forms, or creatures of your own imagination! Whether it’s a mysterious being from the depths of the ocean, a mischievous pet with a secret, or an undiscovered species on a faraway planet – the choice is yours!
• It can be a traditional story format, a poem, a comic strip, or any other way you’d like to express your creativity. Let your imagination run wild and introduce us to your Curious Creatures!

It can be work completed in school as part of a classroom exercise, homework, or something worked on independently at home. We can’t wait to see what our young writers of 2025 create!
