The Green School Awards
Whether your school is planting more trees, setting up recycling stations, or developing campaigns promoting community awareness, we want to hear from you! Our goal is to showcase the amazing work that schools and students are doing to protect our planet and inspire others to follow in their footsteps.
We’re looking for initiatives that are linked to schools in some way, including ideas generated by a school that is carried out in pupils’ homes or the wider community. We believe that every action counts, and we want to highlight the creativity and dedication of young people in driving positive change.
So, if you’re passionate about the environment and want to showcase your school’s green initiatives, submit your entry today! Let’s work together to build a sustainable future for all.
To Nominate
All you need to do is tell us:
- What have you undertaken
- How you carried out the project(s)
- What you learned
You can include pictures or short videos or you can tell us in writing what you have been up to. So whether started a community food exchange, conducted investigations into new or created something entirely unique, we want to hear about it!
The entry form will guide you through and so whether your project involves.
cultivating a garden area, nature conservation, reusing and recycling, saving energy, improving air quality or something different, we want to hear about it no matter how large or small the project is!
Every action taken makes a difference!

Green STEM Showcase – What a Day!
On Wednesday 2nd July, schools joined us for an inspiring Green STEM Showcase celebrating all things Green. Students spent the morning immersed in exciting practical workshops and activities focused on sustainability and innovation in STEM.
With engaging exhibitors such as South Eastern Railway and the Environment Agency, students explored real-world solutions and ideas that make a difference. It was a fantastic day full of energy, creativity, and collaboration.
