Kent Teacher of the Year
We believe that everyone working in the education system plays a vital role in shaping the future of our children. From the dedicated teachers who inspire and educate, to the support staff who keep everything running smoothly, we recognise the hard work and dedication of each and every person who contributes to our schools.
That's why we're excited to invite you to nominate someone for a Kent Teacher of the Year Award!
Whether it's a teacher who has gone above and beyond to support their students, a support worker who always has a smile on their face or a volunteer who has made a significant impact to their school community, we want to hear about them!
Nominations are open to parents, students, and peers, so if you know someone who deserves recognition, we encourage you to submit a nomination. With a wide range of award categories, including primary, secondary, early careers, non-teaching members of staff, and volunteers, there's an opportunity to recognise everyone who makes a difference in our schools.
Our winners will be announced at a special awards dinner, where we'll celebrate their contributions and the impact they've had on the lives of students and their school communities. It's a night not to be missed, filled with inspiration, recognition, and celebration!
So take a moment to think about the amazing people you know in the education system and submit a nomination today. Let's celebrate the people who make our schools great!
Closing date for nominations: 28th February 2024
Green School Awards
Welcome to the Green School Awards, this scheme celebrates and inspires positive action for our planet! We're on a mission to motivate and recognise pupils and schools who are making a real difference to the environment we live in.
Whether your school is planting more trees, setting up recycling stations, or developing campaigns promoting community awareness, we want to hear from you! Our goal is to showcase the amazing work that schools and students are doing to protect our planet and inspire others to follow in their footsteps.
We're looking for initiatives that are linked to schools in some way, such as original ideas generated by a school that are then carried out in pupils' homes or the wider community. We believe that every action counts, and we want to highlight the creativity and dedication of young people in driving positive change.
So, if you're passionate about the environment and want to showcase your school's green initiatives, submit your entry today! Let's work together to build a sustainable future for all.
Deadline for entries: 30th September 2023
