Community Support
As a flagship social enterprise with years of experience delivering for and with our communities, we're in a strong position to provide community support across Kent.
Over the past few years, we've helped people and organisations to develop their resilience, provide community support and activities and build their business while ensuring their organisation is sustainable.
We've been the lead delivery partner on the fantastic Ageless Thanet project for the last seven years and we're the lead partner on the Kent County Council Universal Wellbeing Contract for Older People.
We're part of Connect Well East Kent and provide digital inclusion support to adults across Kent. We've also partnered with Macmillan on the Cancer Champions programme, helping communities in Margate and Ramsgate take charge of their own health and wellbeing.

Ageless Thanet
Part of the National Lottery Funded 'Fulfilling Lives: Ageing Better' programme, Social Enterprise Kent leads the £3 million Ageless Thanet programme.
Working with 50+ residents, Ageless Thanet is tackling social isolation and loneliness, improving mental and physical health in older people and influencing, both locally and nationally, perceptions of ageing and informing policy on ageing.
Cancer Champions
Macmillan is investing just over £55,000, working with Social Enterprise Kent, Kent County Council Public Health and Thanet Clinical Commissioning Group to set up and run a ‘Cancer Champion’ programme for Thanet, focusing on Margate and Ramsgate.
The Cancer Champions assist their local communities to take charge of their own health and wellbeing, providing information on preventative health to raise awareness of early symptoms of cancer, as well as signposting to services where people can seek help.
